The Prince of Macellarius, also Hero's best friend and Fate's brother. He confided in Hero that he was designed to be Fate's suppressor to prevent her awakening. Before his death, he often broke into restricted libraries and offices to find information about what he believed to be the truth about the Empire.

He always had a fondness for Hero and was the only one who seemed to notice when the stain troubled him. Their bond struck others as unusual, particularly because of Hero's taint and this made other people veer away from him despite his great accomplishments throughout Mu.
