The Grim do not frequent the Mortal Realms, as they deem it necessary to keep themselves out of mortal affairs. They are viewed as the counterpart to the Watchers, the shadow to the light and are just as necessary for the Balance. Much like the Watchers, they do not appear unless it is absolutely necessary. Any Grim who do not abide by this law are never able to transcend to become one in the first place since they are beings that transcend both time and space.
